Help with your home screen

Answers to the questions we get most. For anything else, email us.

How do I set one of your apps as my home screen?

Install the app and open it. Android asks which home app to use. Choose the app and tap Always.

If Android does not ask, open Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app and pick it there. The exact menu names differ a little between phone makers.

How do I go back to my old home screen?

Open Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app and choose your previous home app. You can then uninstall ours like any other app. Nothing else on your phone changes.

What is the difference between the free and the Prime or Pro edition?

Most apps come in two editions. The free one is a separate listing from the paid one, and the paid edition is bought once on Google Play. Each Play listing describes what its edition includes.

I bought an app. How do I get a refund?

Google Play handles payments and refunds. Request one from your order history in the Play Store. If that does not work, email us your order number (it starts with GPA) and we will help.

Why does the app ask for the Accessibility permission?

Some apps use Android's Accessibility Service for gestures you turn on, such as double-tap to lock the screen, taking a screenshot or opening the notification panel. It is not used to read your screen or collect personal data. Bureau Launcher does not use it at all.

How do I report a bug or request an icon?

Email help.appmania@gmail.com with the app name, your phone model and your Android version. A screenshot helps. For icon requests, tell us the name of the app that is missing an icon.
